Over the past two decades, the social enterprise has emerged globally as an innovative economic actor explicitly aimed at generating value to the advantage of either the community or of vulnerable groups.

The seven countries included in this round of revision include Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, and Spain.

The main objective of the TSI project is to create knowledge that will further advance the contributions that the third sector and volunteering can make to the socio-economic development of Europe.
