Merie Joseph Kannampuzha is a PhD candidate at Jyväskylä School of Business & Economics, Finland. Her developing PhD thesis deals with understanding the process of growth in social enterprises. She was a visiting scholar in 2012-2013 at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. She holds a Masters of Science in Economics & Business Administration from Turku School of Economics, Finland and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from College of Engineering Trivandrum, India. She is a member of the Nordic Frugal Innovation Society, EMES European Research network and Finnish Social Enterprise Research Network, FINSERN
