Manolis Tzouvelekas is an economist by education with a focus on public administration. He has an extensive experience innovation within the public sector, auditing, quality and general management.
His policy making expertise covers the areas of Quality Management, Open Method of Coordination, Common Assessment Framework.
Since June 2013 he is a PhD researcher in Social Finance, Thesis: “Social & Monetary Innovation: Building cooperative structures for a sustainable and resilient economy in Greece”.
Currently he is working in the Operational Programme “Public Sector Reform”.
Manolis is a member of the researcher team of the ICSEM Project (International Comparative Social Enterprise Models Project) and a BMW Foundation Responsible Leaders alumni (5/2014).
Currently, Manolis is involved as Scientific advisor with the set up of a Social Finance Tool, Social Entrepreneurship Support Network (SES Net), for the development of social enterprises within the framework of Social Finance Enterprise of the European Commission.
He is involved also contributing on a voluntary basis to grassroots groups and social economy initiatives.
