We are excited to announce that all 57 drafts of the entries for Encyclopedia of the Social and Solidarity Economy are now available on the UNTFSSE Knowledge Hub.
UNTFSSE Knowledge hub is a free, open-access online platform that comprises a repository of a body of knowledge on SSE. On the platform, you can search for outputs on social and solidarity economy as a means of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Encyclopedia of the Social and Solidarity Economy is a comprehensive reference text that explores how the social and solidarity economy (SSE) plays a significant role in creating and protecting economic activities and relations from commercialisation and bureaucratisation and transforming them into democratic ones. Identifying and summarising knowledge on the key issues and topics associated with the SSE contributes to active communication amongst diverse actors of SSE policymaking and practices.
A collective work of the UN Inter-Agency Task Force on SSE (UNTFSSE), the Encyclopedia will serve as an essential tool for scholars and students of comparative social policy, international economics, and economic sociology.
EMES is an observer member of the United Nations Task Force for the Social and Solidarity Economy (UNTFSSE) and, as a member, actively participates in its meetings and projects.
