Conference theme this year is “Social Investment and Development”. Following the motto “social investment is to prepare, not to repair”, organisers invite papers addressing the challenges for social policy in the post-industrial era, characterised by women’s entry into the workforce, ageing society and international migration; social investment in care services, education and personal development, the promotion of gender balance and improved working conditions; and the economic, cultural and political factors behind welfare state reforms.
The session on co-production will be chaired by EMES Board member Anna Ciepielewska-Kowalik, who is also coordinator of the conference, and Bartosz Pieliński, who is involved in the TSI project.
Deadline for abstract submission is 15 May: firstname.lastname@example.org
The conference fee is 350 Polish zloty. For more information refer to the conference website (in English and Polish).
